In line with the Victorian State Government’s regulations issued on the 27th of May, the Carmelite Library is CLOSED until further notice. Click-and-collect loans are not available, due to the 5-kilometre rule and because this necessitates someone on staff being in the Library to manage the loans work. The Chief Health Officer, Brett Sutton, reminds us that we are wanting to stop people from moving around town whatever. The less free mobility, the better the chances of the virus being contained. Further updates are contingent on the Government’s response to this changing situation. Stay home, stay safe, read books.
